Frequently asked questions

What Helexion Projects does, how we differ from the Helexion platform, how we engage and how we handle compliance. If your question isn't here, get in touch.

What does Helexion Projects do?

We coordinate the development of selected climate-adaptation, water, energy and resilient-infrastructure projects — aligning stakeholders, structuring mandates, organizing delivery partners and preparing funder-facing documentation to advance projects toward financing, procurement and execution. In short, infrastructure does not need more talk — it needs execution.

How is Helexion Projects different from the Helexion platform?

Helexion, the platform, surfaces infrastructure and adaptation opportunities. Helexion Projects is a separate arm that coordinates the development and execution-readiness work that comes next. AquaVolt Capital supports financing structure where appropriate. One ecosystem, three connected parts — with clear separation between them.

Do I need to use the Helexion platform to work with Helexion Projects?

No. Engagement with Helexion Projects is not required to use the Helexion platform, and the platform gives Helexion Projects no hidden preference. The two operate as distinct entities.

What stage does my project need to be at?

We deliberately enter early — at the development stage — where coordination adds the most value. A project can be anywhere from an idea in a government plan to a partly-structured opportunity awaiting financing or procurement. If there's a real project, a committed sponsor and a viable pathway, we can help move it forward.

What types of projects do you take on?

Selected mandates across water, energy, ports and logistics, climate adaptation, public infrastructure, and agriculture and food security. We are selective — we take on projects where there is a credible sponsor, a plausible financing route and a viable development pathway.

What will I actually receive?

Clearly defined deliverables, depending on the mandate: a Development Diagnostic, a Project Development Plan, a Stakeholder & Funder Map, a Bankability & Funder Documentation package, a Consortium Formation package, a Procurement Readiness package, and ongoing Development Management / PMO support.

How do you charge?

We are mandate-based rather than subscription-based. Engagements can include a fixed-fee development diagnostic as a low-commitment entry point, a monthly development-management retainer for active mandates, a success fee tied to a clearly documented milestone (subject to legal and regulatory review), partner or development fees, a PMO management fee, and defined documentation fees for tender, grant or DFI submissions. Every fee is documented.

Are you a broker, investment adviser or capital raiser?

No. Helexion Projects does not present itself as a broker-dealer, investment adviser, securities arranger or capital raiser. Our work is funding preparation, project structuring, capital-readiness, DFI and donor alignment and investment-documentation support — always subject to appropriate legal and regulatory review.

How do you handle compliance, conflicts and integrity?

Integrity is built into every mandate: beneficial-ownership disclosure, conflict-of-interest review, sanctions and politically-exposed-person screening, procurement transparency, written mandate confirmation, clear fee documentation and an audit trail. See our Neutrality & Compliance page for detail.

Which regions do you work in?

We work with governments, municipalities, DFIs, developers, engineering firms, donors and strategic partners across markets where climate-adaptation and resilient-infrastructure needs are strong. Sector fit and a viable development pathway matter more than geography.

Is my submission confidential?

Yes. Project submissions are treated as confidential, and specific mandates are disclosed only with the relevant sponsor's consent.

How do we get started?

Submit your project through the Submit a Project form, or contact us to discuss a development mandate. A short development diagnostic is usually the best low-commitment first step.

Still have a question?

We're happy to talk it through before any engagement.
